The MT5310H laboratory grade upright Brightfield/Phase Contrast advanced research and laboratory microscope line is the new and cost-effective MT5000 Series Biological Microscopes. The MT5000 Series employs all new and improved U.Plan optics. ICOS™ (Infinity Corrected Optical System) makes the study of mounted specimens fast and easy while delivering an excellent cost-to-performance ratio.

Brightfield

The simplest of all the optical microscopy illumination techniques. Sample illumination is transmitted (i.e, illuminated from below and observed from above) white light and contrast in the sample is caused by absorbance of some of the transmitted light in dense areas of the sample. Brightfield microscopy is the simplest of a range of techniques used for illumination of samples in light microscopes and its simplicity makes it a popular technique. The typical appearance of a brightfield microcopy image is a dark sample on a bright background.

Phase Contrast

An optical microscopy technique that converts phase shifts in light passing through a transparent specimen to birghtness changes in the image. Phase shifts themselves are invisible, but become visible when shown as brightness variations. When light waves travel through a medium other than vacuum, interation with the medium causes the wave amplitude and phase to change in a manner dependent on properties of the medium. Changes in amplitude (brightness) arise from the scattering and absorption of light, which is often wavelength-dependent and may give rise to colors. Photographic equipment and the human eye are only sensitive to amplitude variations. Without special arrangements, phase changes are therefore invisible.

The MT5000 series is a rugged, fully equipped biological microscope systems, created to meet the demands of researchers and clinical laboratory specialists. The MT5000 series microscopes feature a new computer-engineered rigid frame that incorporates low positioned coaxial coarse/fine focus controls and ergonomic stage design for maximum efficiency and comfort while providing and extremely stable platform. The cast aluminum alloy metal stand has a chemical resistant finish. Equipped tension adjustment controls and a built-in stage stop lever protect specimen and objectives from accidental damage during use. The MT5000 series offers an outstanding range of optical performance with an emphasis on all newly engineered high performance U. Plan optics. The new optics provide exceptionally bright, crisp images with good color rendition and superior flat fields of view.

Features

Viewing Head: Model MA816 is a trinocular head for camera integration Eyetubes are inclined at 30 degrees with the left eyetube having graduated diopter settings. The interpupillary distance is adjustable between 53mm - 75mm. An 80/20 beamsplitter for the trinocular tube can be engaged for photo work. (100% to eyetubes or 80% to phototube & 20% to the eyetube.)

Eyepieces: 10X Super Widefield High Eyepoint eyepieces F.N.22 are standard, and 15X and 20X eyepieces are available as an option. A Super Widefield High Eyepoint 10X focusable eyepiece that accepts 25mm reticules is also available.

Objective Changer: Quintuple nosepiece provides effortless objective changes with smooth-operating, ball bearing mounted.

Stage: Ceramic coated standard right-handed or optional left-handed controls, flat top stage 191mm x 140mm with travel: 80mm(X) x 52mm(Y). Ergonomically positioned coaxial drop down controls. Available with motorized focus and stage controls.

Condenser: New design centerable Abbe 1.25 N.A. Condenser with built-in iris diaphragm in dovetail mount.

The TC-5600CL is our latest Trinocular Inverted Epi-Fluorescence Biological LED Compound Microscope line is the cost-effective TC-5000 Series. The TC Series makes routine examining of tissue cultures, microbes and other live specimens in petri dishes and culture bottles fast and easy while delivering an excellent performance-to-cost ratio. The TC5000 Series Microscopes have an integrated front mounted camera port with adapters available for 35mm, CCD/CMOS and other cameras.

The TC-5600CL is equipped with PE-300L/LEDTC is a simple white light LED microscope illuminator. It provides a broad spectrum of illumination, covering the excitation bands of common fluorophores such as DAPI, CFP, Aqua, FITC, TRITC, TxRed, Cy5 and many more. Operation is by a remote manual control pod with instant on/off and intensity control from 0-100%. The newly enhanced PE-300L/LEDTC runs under 60 Watts at its full power. That is almost a quadruple efficiency increase, and compares to other LED technology which uses 120 to 350 Watts. This leap forward in technology makes LEDs more attractive when compared to old Mercury or Metal Halide technology, with no mercury to dispose of and lower energy costs due to low power consumption and the precise control offered.

Simple easy to fit Z-solution

The motorized focus control provides step sizes as small as 0.002µm, giving excellent resolution for precise and repeatable focusing in the Z-axis. For large movements when speed is required, the focus motor can be driven at speeds of up to 20 revolutions per second. This motorized XY stage system can be added to the MT Series Upright models. It includes Multi-Axis Controller, X&Y joystick control, PC RS232 and 2.0 USB cable, and upright motorized stage.

The PR-ES102 automated stage is ideally suited for routine imaging applications that require precise XY stage movement of the sample. The ergonomic joystick provides fast, responsive control of the stage. Two Hot Keys are provided to quickly change stage and focus motor speeds. This motorized XYZ stage and Focus system can be added to the MT Series Upright models. It includes Multi-Axis Controller, X&Y joystick control, upright motorized stage, focus drive and PC RS232 and 2.0 USB cable. The PR-ES103 Stage and Focus System provides an economical solution for routine motorized scanning stage and focus applications.

The PR-ES103 automated stage and focus system is ideally suited for routine imaging applications that require precise XYZ stage movement of the sample. Step sizes as small as 0.1 µm give excellent resolution for precise focusing and repeatable positioning in the Z-axis. For large movements when speed is required, the PR- ES103 focus motor can be driven at speeds of up to 16 revs/s. The ergonomic joystick provides fast, responsive control of the stage. Two Hot Keys are provided to quickly change stage and focus motor speeds. The PR-ES103 stage provides a fast smooth positioning without vibration thanks to a unique S-curve acceleration algorithm.
